We are going to Disneyland and will be arriving at Lax late in the evening. I don't really want to take a shuttle that stops at a ton of hotels, as it will already be late. Any thoughts? Also, am looking for transportation from my Good Neighbour hotel to El Segundo, as I have an early flight out and want to stay close to LAX, having a hard time finding a service that might go hotel to hotel? Thanks

For 'hotel to hotel' transfers, you can look at Lux Bus:

(Note: even though your El Segundo hotel -- or Anaheim hotel, for that matter -- isn't listed on the drop-down menu of their site, just email them and they'll add it.

For your initial transfer from LAX to your hotel near Disneyland, consider taking a "shared van" service rather than the giant "Disneyland Express" bus. These vans hold a maximum of 9 persons so, since MOST people visiting Disneyland bring their kids with them, it's unlikely that you will be in the van with more than 2 other families. So, worst case: you'll be the 'third stop' on the van but, you could always be the first or second.

You can also opt for a "private van' from this same source. In that case, other passengers are excluded and for a higher price ($100, instead of $60 for the 4 of you sharing the van with others), you are guaranteed a direct transfer. If there are just 2 of you, the shared van rate is $30.

A taxi would also be around $100.

3. Re: Transportation

The bus and the shared van services are very compeititve between LAX and Anaheim, so they all charge $15 per person one way. If there are 3 or more in your travel party a rental car starts to make $$$ sense although it could take a bit longer than a van since you have the rental process and the shuttle to the remote lot. Most companies do not charge a one way drop fee since they consider all LA metro locations as one.
