Southern VT Foliage Report

Hi: Had a lovely hike in Woodford (on Route 9 between Bennington and Wilmington) this afternoon. Thought I'd pass along the foliage update from down south: It may be getting close to full color at the highest elevations but there are still plenty of leaves left to turn color. At the lower elevations the color has started to turn, but it will be a while still before peak. The weather has been glorious, perfect for getting into the woods. Enjoy!

Thanks for the So VT update!

Here in the Champlain Valley we are still mostly green. The upper elevations, from what I can tell from my vantage point, look like they are starting to get some good color. The next couple weeks should be awesome! Lets hope for some nice, cool, fall weather after this week!
