Burlington to Smugglers Notch

Hi

We are flying into Burlington late December for 2 nights then have 3 nights at Smugglers Notch.

What's the best way to get from Burlington to Smugglers Resort ?

We are not use to winter driving so was trying to avoid that.

Is there at Taxi that would do the trip or should we just hire a car ?

Thanks

Rent a car is your best bet. As long as there's not a current snow storm underway on the day you want to travel, you'll be fine. But Smuggs does run a van from the airport if you really don't want to drive. https:/…transportation.php

Finally, it may be possible to find a taxi that would do the trip but I'd make arrangements ahead of time and not rely on a last minute call. Green Cab seems to have a pretty good rep for this type of thing.

Thank you. Will have a look at Green Cab, but yes thinking rental car is the way to go.

Rental car will likely be cheaper, and more convenient - assuming you'll drive back to BTV or a bit of driving around Smuggs. A taxi will be around $50 each way.

The drive itself is rather easy, assuming you don't drive during or immediately after a snowstorm. It's all travelled secondary roads.
