Last minute advice - drive with kids from Jackson to SLC

very last minute post! was so busy planning YNP and GTNP, forgot to plan drive home.

We are in Jackson and heading to our flight out of SLC tonight.

We have the whole day. It's 7am and flight is at 11pm.

What is best route to take so that I can break the drive up?

My goal isn't shortest drive.

We have 4 kids, so state parks, little parks, water play areas, boulders they can monkey around in, etc...anything really would do the trick. Even things just south of Jackson would help.

OR some activity/place/goal to hit in Northern Utah / SLC area and let them do stuff there.

hope someone responds quickly.

Thanks!

Best route is south to Evanston then I-80 to airport. Stop in Park City. Visit the Utah Olympic Park where you can do a free tour of the Olympic Training Facility and the Alf Engen Ski Museum, as well as doing zip line rides and other attractions. From there it's 30-35 minutes to airport. Tons of restaurants in the Kimball Junction Area. It will be about five hours from Jackson to Park City - nice scenic drive.

Have fun.
