3 day trip in NH, Vermont and Maine

Hi,

We will be in NH, Vermont and Maine from Oct 27 to Oct 30. Would we still be able to some fall colours? What colour of leaves would we see?

Thanks

Your only chance for any color would be on the southern Maine coast, and even so, it's going to be well past peak. Colors are almost always gone, trees are either brown or bare (depending on the wind with any storm) by the 25th.

I agree with LMM about VT, NH and ME. I think your best bet might be to consider Litchfield County in Connecticut or perhaps along the shore there. My wife and I were married in late October in CT and all the leaves were already off the threes but they were still pretty on the ground.

Yes, by the end of October, you won't see any real color in New England, just a few 'straggler' leaves on trees in southwestern Connecticut
