Hi I am planning to travel to Mexico (Cancun) from Colorado in february 2019. I am applying for US tourist visa for the same. Do I need to apply any separate visa for Mexico? Someone told me that specific locations in Mexico are valid to travel on USA tourist visa (B1/B2).

Whether or not you need a visa for Mexico is not something that people on the Colorado forum can answer.

Post on Jalisco, Mexico forum. Lots of helpful folks there in Puerto Vallarta.

I was a resident of Mexico for 4 years, living in the country on an FM3. If this is allowed, which I don't know, the answer is going to depend on the passport of origin.
