Are Vineyards open on weekdays on Waiheke in March?

Hi everyone! :-)

Does anyone happen to know if the Vineyards are open for dinner during weekdays in March? All of them seems to only open for lunch.

Thanks in advance!

You need to google Waiheke vineyards and then look at the indivisual websites to see wh is open and when. It does vary depending in size of vineyard and time of yea. Some may offer tastings ‘by appointment’ only. You’ll need to do your homework.

I have checked all the Vineyards on their

Website and none of them are open mon-thurs for dinner if you book now -

But since it is low season now i thought that maybe they are open on mon-thurs in beginning of March when it is high season, therefor my question if someone happen to know.

Most vineyards (throughout NZ) which serve food, serve lunch only.

Most vineyard kitchens close by 3pm.

Hi!

Thank you so much for your answer! :-)

Guess we have to skip dinner then and focus on lunch instead.

Keep checking the individual winery-cafes though. With the Sculpture in the Gulf now being moved to a March timeframe (away from the former busy February timing), there will be more visitors on the island especially for the exhibition. Lots of the people who are keen on art are also foodies. So things could change by Spring-early summer.

The two restaurants closest to the sculpture site are Cable Bay and Mudbrick, but I can only see winter menus posted at present for Mudbrick.

I’m pretty sure Cable Bay will be open for dinner at that time of year....check their website.

I would have thought Mudbrick would be; we went there for dinner in April a couple of years ago. Although that was probably a weekend night, I was under the impression they weren't only open weekends.
