Does the Nepliget Bus Station have Currency Exchange?

I'm traveling from Ljubljana to Budapest on DECEMBER 25th, 2017 (Christmas day) via Flixbus. Will the currency exchange kiosk in the Nepliget Bus Terminal be open on that day? ...Does it even have a currency exchange kiosk or can I buy a train ticket to the city center with euro?

Hi,

They do have a currency exchange booth in the Népliget bus station, but like a lot of places, it will be shut down for Christmas Day and likely Boxing Day too. Your options are to either use a credit or debit card at the automated ticketing machines for Budapest's public transport and for your other purchases or to exchange enough euros for forints in advance while in Ljubljana to get you through those first two days as many currency exchange places will be closed for the holidays.
