Where should I stay ?

Hello,

Traveling to Prague for 3 nights, and deciding between which side of river we should stay. Please suggest based on my preferences.

I will be with toddler. I am photographer, so I will be looking for some famous spots to photograph. Also, I will utilize some of night also, to capture some good night-shots of castle, bridge, etc. We are fine with hotels, but if Airbnb is there, we would prefer.

Can I get some suggestions, which side of bridge or which area, I should search accommodations ?

Thanks

Prague is not a big city so I don’t think it matters. You are overthinking it.

Didn't thought about Cobblestone streets :-)

Are there plain pathway also on sides, where stroller can be taken or its of no use there ?

I can't think of many sidewalks in the centre which have smooth, concrete paving. Czechs with strollers seem to get by just fine, though...

Getting down from the castle there are sidewalks but they are of smaller stones...so not as bad. But Charles Bridge..due to crowds and larger stones, stroller is not advisable.

Best advice, wake up early for photos of the bridge, go to the Castle grounds after 6pm or later..no crowds

Make your way to Letna hill for sunset

Old Town and Mala Strana are flat areas in Prague. The castle area is very hilly and would be hard with a small child.

I am trying to stay close to main attractions, so that I can easily move around places, even in late evening, as well as it should not be high prices.

I was checking Airbnb and I can see this one which is quite close to bridge and convinient https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6387186?s=51

Unless I don't book, it doesn't tell me exact address, but for idea, it is near to this place - Kaple Sv. Eliáše, Dražického nám. 63/7, 118 00 Malá Strana, Czechia

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/933989?s=51

It is close to this address - Hroznová 636/3a, 118 00 Malá Strana, Czechia

Are these ok places ?

Google map perhaps? Not to diffcult to see that they are both close and about the same distance to the bridge.

As well, look at Google street map.. you can see the cobblestone streets.

I like the later one as it very neary Kampa Park.. a little more breathing room

Each are on either side of the street leading to the bridge

While around, pay attention to door handles.. a lot of different themes.

Photos ops for me is Olsany Cemetery
