Does anyone know how far (walking) Green Bungalows is to a beach?

Planning on going first week in May 07...do you think it will be warm enough for the beach then????

Shouldn't take long to walk to A beach...but Nissi Beach is a 20-30 minute walk away

Green Bungalows are in a prime position for everything in Napa and they are smashing apartments to stay in.

There are nine top class beaches in Napa- your just yards from the main road that stretches from one end to the other Nissi Avenue. Just wakk to the east end of the Avenue and turn right at th lights past Tommys Bar on the corner and that road takes toyou to Grecian Bay which streches forever. Sandy beach (and it is very hot in late April/early May and the beaches are quiet) a bit rocky at the busy end - if you walk along in front of the Grecian Bay Hotel the walk out to sea is all sand.

Along NissiAvenue the right and about a 20 minute walk is Golden Bay and along from that the "young persons" favourite Nissi Beach.

A further walk along is the lovely (and quiet beyond belief in early May for such a big sandy beach and a sea you walk out into for ahundred yards ) is Kermia Beach and further on is the lovely Macronnosis Beach- all sand , nice beach bar, loos- superb.

If you get transport try Konnos Bay which is one of the best and usually always calm sea (especially when the others round the other side are choppy)- Its on the main road to Protarus and as you go past Cape Greco watch for the sign "Mikes Sports" turn right then right again by the Konnos Apartment and there is a track that you drive down the hillside into the most beautiful bay.

Have a great time
