Baby food in cyprus

Can anyone help?

I am going to Ayia Napa in September with my 7 month old baby, can you buy baby food in the supermarkets?

Is it the brands we get in england?

I don't want to take a load of stuff with me if I can get it over there.

Thanks

As a new grandfather I think Cyprus is more baby oriented than UK as we do not have the concentration of everything in to the dominating, large, all powerful supermarkets and Boots, I am advised that Gerber is widely available, plus a variety of other makes and Farley's rusks but Heinz has not been noticed. Even the smaller shops stock a range of foods and other items including disposable nappies such as Pampers to sterilising items.

I went to our local shop this morning not that big but typical of its type across Cyprus and they stock Gerber, Nestle and Hero foods and drinks and Farley's Rusks. The only milk formula maker I recognized was Nestle.
