50th Birthday, where to spoil her

We're in Coogee Beach the first week of January. It's my wife's 50th birthday. Where can I take her for that special evening meal. We don't have a car so either withing walking or short taxi. Cheers

Hi.

It would help if you gave a budget in AUD and a cuisine type.

Where in Coogee would you be staying might help too.

Cheers

One sister's 50th birthday was a dinner cruise on the harbour

Another sister's 50th birthday was dinner at Carrington Hotel in Katoomba. You can do that trip by train. 2 hours there and 2 hours back. Or stay overnight.

Perhaps somewhere like Icebergs may appeal

Frankly, I'd be going in to town and having dinner at Aria, Ripples or similar - somewhere with that iconic Sydney view as well as great food. Bus in and taxi/uber back to Coogee?

cheers

Icebergs, Aqua Dining, Aria, Catalina,.

Or make it lunch to take the seaplane to Cottage Point Inn.

I quite like the Coogee Pavilion. However, for somewhere special that's only a short taxi ride away, I suggest Bondi Icebergs.

Aria then without a doubt. I go every time I’m in Sydney.

For lunch I like the degustation at Bathers Pavillion at Balmoral. Not quite fine dining but still phenomenal food and service is Pilu at Freshwater but I’d go for lunch to enjoy the spectacular view.
