Hello, any suggestions to a great hotel with a comfortable bed easy access from Brisbane Airport (having landed from the UK!) Thank You.
For 2 nights, I'd stay in the CBD or Southbank so you can experience the cuty. You can take the train from the airport tinge city centre.
It's hard to recommend places without knowing your budget?
we are 2 adults and 1 child aged 13....hoping to spend no more than 90 pounds per night.....going to pick a hire car so gotta be near those then drive to Lone Pines...then make our way up to the sunshine coast.
So about $155? (Most posters are Australian,so use AUD not GBP).
That's quite low for Australia and won't get you the "best" as per your title. You're looking for budget.
Suggest you use booking.com or Accor and search for your dates and number of people and filter for your budget.cone back with your short list and we can advise which is best for location etc
In the city close to Roma street station where the Airtrain arrives from the airport I’d look at Ibis Hotel in Turbot street. I was first going to suggest Hotel Jen right next to Roma street, then I saw your budget. Depending on dates Hotel Jen might be more than $155 for 2 adults and a 13 year old, check prices.Edited: 08 January 2018, 00:26
Thank you very much will look at what you have suggested.have a good price for mercure. plenty around my budget.
Not in SYD for NYE we are flying down to christchurch NZ to stay with friends busy busy!
Definitely head into the CBD/Southbank on arrival. Stsying at the airport leaves you in an airport/light indutrial area, so not lovely.
You can hire a car right in the CBD, but you might not want it until uou leave Brisbane - there is a public bus at goes directly to Lone Pine, and everything else is walkable/easy on Public transport. As well, CBD parking will add a huge amount to your hotel costs.
