What documents are required in Australia when entering?

Hello! I am from Europe and I have been granted a visa for going on holiday in Australia. On my visa there are mentioned as "Conditions": 8527 - Tuberculosis free 8528 - No criminal convictions. Could someone clarify if, when entering the Australian territory, I should only give a statement (the one on the Incoming Passenger Card) or should I present documents in this respect (such as medical certificate and excerpt from the criminal record issued by the authorities in my country). Thank you in advance!

You make the legal declaration on the passenger card (or at the electronic stations if they have got rid of the cards by the time you visit). If you are asked to present evidence at any stage after your declaration - just have scanned copies on your phone or computer.

Thank you! I was wondering if it is mandatory to bring with me such evidence(they would refuse the entrance?), since it takes quite a lot of time and financial resources to obtain the documents.

Best,

Have entered 12 times and never been asked for evidence of either.

I do have a little yellow “Vaccination Record” that my travel doctor gave me which shows all vaccinations I had had. When returning from South America I have been asked to show it, but not from other destinations so it may be dependent on where you are coming from. It fits in my passport holder.

It never hurts to have a record like this on you just in case.

Cheers

Are you asking because you have a criminal record?

No and neither tuberculosis :) I am asking because I don’t want my entrance to be declined for not bringing with me a document after all the planning of this holiday.

Thanks! I also have a Vaccination record that I will take it with me.. but I hope that an x-ray/medical certificate for tuberculosis is not needed

You need neither a police check nor a medical check.
