Reply #1 has given you a local car rental company. The majors are in Chiusi.

Or you could ask at the Tourist Office in Piazza Italia for others.

I doubt it very much, especially at this time of the year. You could ask at the travel shop (I don't remember its name) half way up Viale Roma on a corner on the right hand side. They do day trips to various places in the summer.

I thought the subject of excursions from Chianciano had come up before and it has, last October (see link above). It was suggested then that you could contact the Tourist Office but I would reiterate what I wrote at the time and that's that if you are staying in Chianciano, you'll enjoy yourselves a great deal more if you have a hire car. The town is possibly better served than many others by buses but the timings are set purely around local people going to work / children going to school.
