Apologies if this has been asked before but want to make sure we get this right. We’re off to Peyia in a couple of weeks and are fully vaccinated so:-

Don’t need any tests before we go?

Do we need to get tested in Cyprus before we return to the UK?

Order a day 2 test to do when we’re back home.

Thanks in advance

No tests to enter Cyprus for fully vaccinated passengers.

You will need a PCR/RAT test taken within 3 days of your departure to the uk and book a 2 day return test in time to enter the booking code on your uk passenger locator form within 48hrs of your departure.

We are in Coral Bay/ Peyia at the moment and there is a medical centre doing the fly home tests it’s opposite the soreynia restaurant down the road from Blazing Saddles was busy when we went passed last night.

Don’t forget to order your Day 2 test for when you get home you need the reference number to fill out your return flight locater form 48hrs before you leave. We used Expert Medicals £35.99 including postage and it has been delivered to our house ready for our return.

Just back today. Before you go you must prearrange a pcr test in the UK and get a reference number. This is just for the two day test after you get back. 72 hours before you leave Cyprus to come home you must get a test with a certificate. This can just be an antigen test. We got ours done at Pavlides Labs in Chlorakas for €10 each. You must be there before 10am but we went before 9.00am and there were no queues. The test takes a couple of minutes and if you want to wait 30 minutes you can take your certificate with you or they will e-mail it.. 48 hours before you leave fill in your UK government passenger locator form. It is a bit long winded so read it carefully. When you get to the airport to come back they ask to see your passenger locator form, your test certificate and of course your passport.. Before leaving the UK of course you must fill in the Cyprus Travel Pass on line and you will often be asked for that when you go into shops and the odd restaurant or bar. The only thing looked at at Gatwick was our passports as normal. Final tip is to set up your accounts for the PLF and the CFP now and save them as a draft. Saves a bit of time later.
