I’m currently in Xaghra until Saturday when we’re going home can anyone advise me how I can get to see a doctor? My 3 month old son is running a fever and not well.
Thanks in advance
Visit the local pharmacy & they will advise of the closest. Doctor's tend to visit pharmacies. Expect to pay around €15.00 to see them.
Thank you so much will do.
An alternative is to visit a public clinic such as the one shown here in Victoria;
Particularly useful if there's not a GP surgery that you can see when you need to.
(Take EHIC card if you have them and/or passports).
However I would follow XDs advice (my wife has done this when needing to see a GP and get a Prescription in Malta) - whilst you need to pay the small fee it saves any travel and queueing at the clinic. You can get a receipt and even claim on travel insurance (though excess may apply).
