Check out dogsledding.is for a tour from Reykjavík. You should know that it's not an Icelandic tradition, though. It is done for tourists and may not be on snow.

It is only on snow if there is enough snow in the area at the time. The only other option is in the North in the Mývatn area (snowdogs.is), but that would require a 3-4 day side trip that might be impacted by the weather in winter.

Like I said dog sledding is not a tradition in Iceland, so I only know of these two operators.

Alaska is the place to do that.

Dog sledding is not very popular in Iceland. If this is a main interest I would consider a trip to Norway, Sweden or Finland.

There are direct flights to Akureyri from the UK operated by this company - https:/…

One flight from Manchester, but it's in Christmas.

From Akureyri you can (probably) do the dog sledding mentioned earlier by Kim - snowdogs.is - it's in the Mývatn area. But going between places could be an issue.

More options. Take a domestic flight here in Iceland from KEF international airport to Akureyri. https:/…keflavik - the timings are good if you arrive from Europe.

This same airline (Air Iceland Connect) also flies to Greenland, if that's a deal for you.

It is very popular in Norway. We went to Tromso the last 2 yrs and did the sledding both times.
