Itinerary for a 4 day visit

Prior to our cruise which departs from Stockholm in July we arrive a few days early. We get in at 10:00 am after overnight travel from the US. We have 2 nights at the Sheraton prior to embarking on the ship and then the ship stays in port that day and the next day. This means that we have most of the first day that we arrive, the entire second day, on the 3rd day we embark but have that entire 3rd day to explore and we have most of the 4th day before we set sail.

I have seen many suggested itineraries for 1 day in Stockholm but I can't find suggestions for a multi day visit. I would love suggestions for a proposed itinerary.

1. Old Town, Royal Castle, City Hall

2. Skansen and Wasa on Djurgården Island

3. Explore Södermalm with lovely views of the inner harbour from Mosebacke, Monteliusvägen or Fjällgatan, lots of restaurants and people at Medborgarplatsen and Mariatorget, here and there preserved small red wooden houses from the 19th C (where the poor people lived).

4. Day excursion to Uppsala with cathedral, university and castle alt. to Drottningholm palace (Unesco world heritage, half day)
