Best way to spend Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday?

My family of 6 (two teens, two young 20's wife and self) arranged a short stay in Stockholm. First time visitors. Would greatly appreciate recommendations for itinerary (this July). Its a short stay broken up into two half days and full Saturday.

Arrive Arlanda airport on Friday at 1300 hrs. Staying Motel L...I expect it will be 1600 or so by time we are checked in and ready to start exploring.

Looking for recommendations on how to best spend Friday night and then all day Saturday. We will depart from Motel L on Sunday at 1400hrs.

We think we would like to fit in:

Explore Old Town including Royal Palace, Nobel Museum

Free walking tour of city?

Traditional food

Vasa Museum, ABBA Museum?

City Hall

Would love to do short boat/ferry ride to get that experience of the area.

We are open to all suggestions. Hope to fit in a lot in short time!

I greatly appreciate any assistance on crafting these 2 day.
