Hi there, I am in the midst of planning a holiday for my family of 5 adults, around the Christmas period, to Greece. Would really appreciate any help/recommendations here. I have researched on TA many times, and after a while, am completely at a loss of what to do!
Here's a rough itinerary;
Dec 23 arrive Athens - spend 2 nights
(or take a tour to Corinth and Nafplion, spend 2 nights)
Dec 27 back to Athens for 3 nights (maybe take a day-trip to one of the nearby island)
Dec 30 depart for home
i checked some of the tour websites and i thinks tours are not available during the December month (eg to Delphi). Which means we either hire a private tour (if we can find one) or just take public transport.
We are interested in visiting some of the famous archeological sites and maybe one island, and we love food and wine. Not looking at a packed itinerary but one that will enable us to see things in a relaxed way.
Can someone please offer some advice? Really aprreciate it, much thanks, Christine
