Where to stay

We are spending 3 nights in Lisbon in November.

We are looking for an area with not too expensive accomodation, but with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

We arrive at Entrecampos Station and we plan to visit the castle, Paque das Nacoes, Belem Tower, Sintra, Tile Museum, Palacios de Queluz and Obidos.

We just can't decide on the best area to stay.

Any suggestions gratefully received

1. Re: Where to stay

Stay between Entrecampos and Saldanha, look at accommodations around Av Duque de Ávila. Wherever you stay you always have to take public transports to reach all those sights. There are also lots of hostels downtown (Baixa), Chiado and Cais do Sodré area.

2. Re: Where to stay

Thank you very much for your help. I found a very good deal with America Diamonds Hotel, which is very close to both Entrecampos and the road you mentioned. Looking forward to our trip to Lisbon

3. Re: Where to stay

We recently stayed at the VIP Executive Hotel near Saldhana metro station. A nice hotel and easy to get to and from. Usually quite good deals on Booking.com etc. Have fun!

we stayed at Ibis Parque das Nacoes and it was a great location and cost was decent. lots of bars/restaurants (and big shopping center) within walking distance.
