How long can I park on a P+R in Brussels?

Hi! I am planning to fly from Brussels and I would like to leave my car on P+R parking for two weeks.

Is that legal? And is it free?

Thanks!

This is not a question about travelling to Brussels (you clearly live here, as you own a car here and are flying from BRU) and you should be using one of the many expats' forums.

However, as I understand it, you now need to register (and may have to pay) to use P+R facilities, to ensure that they are used for their intended purpose, which is to keep commuters' vehicles out of the centre and not to provide free parking for Brussels residents (https://parkandride.brussels/page/faq). I suggest you e-mail the P+R people regarding how long you may leave a car at the one you want to use (https://parkandride.brussels/page/contactUs).

Thanks for the answer, do you live in Brussels?

I was thinking about just leaving it in suburbs (like Melsbroek or Wambeek) do you think that these small villages have free parking on street?
