Are these sculptures still around?

Are these sculptures still around? And if yes, can you please tell me where? Or were they perhaps just temporary installations?

Thanks, Mez.

Thanks Pala, I've managed to find it on Google Maps.

I've discovered the turtle was temporary. It was part of Artzuid 2011. There is a silver lining though, Artzuid 2013 starts next week and will still be up when I arrive.

ddavis, yes, I do.

On my visit in 2011, I was on the hunt for as many street sculptures as I could find and I got a lot of help from the people on this forum. My favourite was the violin player emerging from the ground in the foyer of the Opera House. Simply amazing!

A lot of the sculptures are already in place, it says it doesn't officially open till the 22nd but you can wander round now. The best one I saw on my drive past today was feet in the fountain at the Indië Monument.

And don't forget the little man up in the tree, sawing the branch he's standing on! Or, the breast and hand piece mounted among the cobblestones near the Oedekerk in the RLD. There are lots of hidden gems about!

I'm not sure what we're talking about in this thread, but here's an extensive, though still incomplete list of statues (bronze or otherwise) divided in neighbourhoods of Amsterdam

And of course the most popular one, the Nachtwacht on the Rembrandtplein
