As often conflicting requirements. Eurolines is most cost effective but not really easy. Train is easier. Best is also most expensive (but if you book 90 days before travel date often still cheap): Thalys Amsterdam-Antwerp or Amsterdam-Brussels and then a regional express for the last part to Brugge. www.nshispeed.nl or www.b-rail.be give the options. Overall travel time this way about 3 hours.
All the best,

Great thank you very much
Actually Eurolines have one direct bus to Brugge per day which only takes about an hour longer than the IC train from Amsterdam. you will have to check prices out on the day yourself.
This is insightful, thank you very much.
