What local product? No wine produced in the Netherlands I'm afraid.

If you google wijnhandel Amsterdam that will give you a long list. The Dutch like therii wijm.

Try this one to start with.

Jeniver, a sort of gin, or advocaat are more of the local drinks than wine; you could get both from the House of Bols, and try some too.

What other types of wine would you be looking for? anything special- also dont forget that schiphol airport has several duty free shops, maybe you can get what you are looking for there.

For just a bottle of plonk, there is Albert Hijn and also a small mini supermarket on Damstraat which surprisingly has a decent range of cheap plonk.
