hotel recommendation and places worth seeing

we are planning to go to amsterdam between 10 october and 15 october.we are two couples and going amsterdam to see that famous coffeshops, crazy parties etc. we can pay 100euro max. per night for the hotel.We don't want to lose time by transportation so city centre or close to city centre hotels would be great for us.can you please recommed us some hotels?

Also which places you recommend us at night (clubs bars etc.) and are there any festivals or special events between these dates?

thanx for your help .

Amsterdam isn't that big; from most parts in the city you can reach the Leidseplein, Damsquare in about 10 to 15 minutes by perfect public transport. So even if you're not really in the really citycenter your close..... ( gives you more options for your budget )

Like geoff said; I suppose the 100 euro is for a couple???!!!

Hotel options;

Hotel Estherea, Hotel Piet Hein, Hotel Cornerhouse,.

Things to see;

Heineken Experience, Anne Frank House, Coster Diamondtour, Canal cruise.

On www. Iamsterdam.com you can find more info about festivals etc. I hope this info works for you.....
