The bus, will be a lot cheaper, specially booked in advance
Have fun, searching.
the flight option is really cheap if you book in advance. Friends have booked for September and only paid 35 euro each per flight. I paid 100 for th e train!
Thanks for the info....i will check out eurolines and vueling...does anyone know if the bus is comfortable..usually buses in Europe are quite good...
Yes i think ? that the busses will ge good,
Paris to Amsterdam is closer of course but with teh flights being so cheap (maybe) I would go by plane.
There is the inconvenience of having t o check in at the airport and train from Schippol to the city but from memory, the bus did not end up in the city centre either.
If you do care at least a bit about comfort, then I would go by train. You get from one city center right into another - without airport transfers and 2 hours waiting for a flight at the airport. It would all by all be even faster than when going by plane.
Same as with airlines - book your train ticket well in advance in order to get a cheaper rate.
sncf has recently advertised inexpensive rates to amsterdam; i just booked a ticket for 48 Euros R/T. check out www.scf.fr
