Need 2 really interesting Moderate price restaurants

We will be staying a a hotel in Dam Square for two nights after a river cruise and need two really interesting local restaurants for a Wednesday and a Thursday night. We don;t want to dressup and want something vewry regional. And, of course good food and good value. We don't mind walking through lighted streets. I'd like to make reservations before we leave. I welcome all ideas so I can then google them for reviews. I prefer to use TA folks to start guiding me. Thanks!

Thanks Pala. I' Il check them out . I thought a review of Pantry said it was 40 minute walk from Dam Square. But I'll l check again. I see you are in Port Townsend. Boy do I love that town. We visited Twice in the 1980s and stayed ata wonderful B&B which had a "Murphy Tub" in out room. I'd go back in a minute if I came back to the Northwest.

More like 20 minutes walk or take tram 1,2 or 5. 40 minutes would nigh on take you to the edge of the A10 ring

I'd say more like 15-20 minutes walk.

Yep truly blessed to live here. It's a lot different now than it was in the 80's. I leave PT for our second home in Amsterdam in about 36 hours !!

Have a great trip.

Edit: Ron, see ya soon buddy.

Hop on the ferry behind central station and eat at the restaurant in the Eye. The trip there is something different and the building is amazing inside and outside.

Van Kerkwijk is very close to Dam Square. One of our favorites.
