3 nights in Amsterdam.

Hello community,

I will be in Amsterdam, for three night April 15,16,17 with my fiance. One: any suggest a good guide book? Two: how is the weather? Three: and suggestions on what to do?

Also we are on a budget because we are spending three nights in Spain and France Prior to our arrival. .

Best guide book - DK Eyewitness Guide Amsterdam

Nobody can predict the weather 6 weeks in advance. Plan for cold, wind & rain and anything else is a gift

Amsterdam is VERY expensive. You have chosen one of THE most expensive times of the year. Do you have hotels yet ?

Things to do - look at the guidebook. Look at the top of this website page for the Things to Do list.

Your local public library will have a lot of guidebooks, all free of charge. The DK Eyewitness series is a good one, with good photos.

Don't forget to double check opening days and times of any attractions you might wish to see.

Good luck with your travel planning.

Good guide book - Google.

Understand (as Sunny was saying) Amsterdam will be VERY crowded and VERY expensive during your visit.

As Sunny also stated, look at the top questions on the upper right for "What is there to see and do"? It gives you tips for seeing Amsterdam on a budget and eating cheap.
