A few days in Zeeland

Hi guys,

We're currently in Bruges and heading up to Zeeland to tomorrow for about 3 days (after some kind recommendations on here!)

Can anyone suggest the best place to base ourselves to explore? Would prefer something cheap and self catering if poss (currently researching some places now)

Also if nah tone has any tips for routes up there from Bruges it would be appreciated

Hi there,

Cadzand-bad, Domburg and Renesse are about the top 3 beach resort towns. Plenty of acco including self catering, _but_ quite a chance for high prices and being booked out. Hence secondary resort places like Zoutelande or Ouddorp can be added, and also anything 'within 10-20 km from the coast' as these are often better value for money.

All the best,

Routes by car or by public transport?

Sorry by car. We've actually decided to skip Zeeland for a few days and base ourselves in Den Haag instead due to the forecast weather and just do things the other way round. Plus like ErikdR said - there aren't many places left to stay and whatever is left is more than we wanted to spend. We are hoping however to go this weekend either there or across to Zwolle depending on weather so still up for any tips :)

Thanks a lot for your responses

If you do go, try Vlissingen or Middelburg.
