Swiss Pass on Geneva Trams

We're not staying in Geneva but will be visiting by train on our way to tour CERN.

We have a Swiss Pass, can it be used on Geneva's tram system and if so, just how do you use it? Just show it to the driver? Or do you use it somehow to get a ticket for the tram?

Thanks for the help.

Yes the Swiss Pass is valid on the Geneva transport system. Just board the tram and keep your pass with you, tickets are inspected by roving inspection teams.
