Transit times at Geneva

I will be arriving in Geneva at 9:40am on Swiss from New York

and will be catching a 11:25am connecting flight (also Swiss) to Athens. Will this be enough time?

This is part of an around the world itinerary, will Swiss automatically

pass luggage through?

Thank you

If you specify at the check-in you want your luggage through to Athens, there should be no problem. For the rest, Geneva is not that a big airport (11 mio pax per year) so 1 3/4 hour should be more than enough. In addition, given the fact both trips are on the same ticket, Swiss will guarantee the connection. So if your transatlantic flight is late, they would rebook you for free on another flight to Athens. So no worry.

Enjoy your round the world journey!

With 1 3/4 hr connection time you risk getting bored rather than stressed - the only worry is if something delays your incoming flight. As Swissdiver says, make sure your bags are checked through to Athens when you check in in NY
