Bellagio to Como by public transportation

We would like to get from Bellagio to Como. What would be the easiest way to do it by public transpo?

Then, we might like to go from Como to Lugano-how should we do that and how long approx should it take?

Thanks a lot!

Dafne

And if we take the hydrofoil-is it close(walking distance) to the train station in Como?

If you take the hydrofoil coming off the ferry cross the road turn left, keeping the lake on your left, walk along for about three minutes or so. There is a big hotel on your right. Just after the hotel is Como Nord Lago station. Here you can take trains to Milano Cadorna. Both Milan stations are a similar distance from your hotel so it does not make much difference at that end.

I would not suggest to walk to Como S Giovanni from the ferry terminal as it is a bit further away and you do not know the way. The hydrofoil is roomier and possibly more relaxing. The bus is cheaper!
