I'll be travelling in May from Genoa to Camogli. Can anyone direct me to an online train/bus timetable for this jorney.
Thanks for info. Would it be worth looking into the possibility of getting a boat? The reason I ask is because we are travelling from Milan to Genoa and then onto Camogli BUT only some of the trains go from the mail PP station and the other leave from Brignole. I'm just trying to make the journey as easy as possible as some of the people within the group aren't that mobile.
If you look at http://trenitalia.it/homepage_en.html and enter 'Milan' and 'Camogli' for your journey rather than looking at Milan-Genoa and Genoa-Camogli separately, you will see that there a couple of direct trains, and plenty where you only have the one change at Piazza Principe. Where it says "path inside station", you are transferring from the ground level to the underground station of Piazza Principe Sotteraneo. This short walk should be possible for everyone in your party, though I suppose it could be better to avoid it if there are people who are very immobile.
Brilliant....thanks very much. I've now printed off the timetable and I'll be very organised when we arrive in Genoa. Much easier to change at PP rather than have to negotiate our way to BRIG.
