Incident in Bologna

Yesterday in Bologna happened an heavy incident. A truck full of gas fuel (GPL) hit another truck and start to burn, after few minutes exploded destroying everything in the area. Fortunately there was only one person died and some tens injuried.

The incident caused the collapsing of the highway (autostrada) and part of the freeway (tangenziale) that now are closed. Probably will take come months to rebuild the bridges, so for a long time there will be traffic problems in this area.

If you are travelling from Padua-Venice-Ancona and you need to go south to Florence-Rome, probably the berre way is continue in direction Milan, exit at Valsamoggia and take the highway in the opposite direction. The same for who is travelling northway. Plase take it in account.

Some buses route will be changed, mainly the ones who is passing through Borgo Panigale: lines 13, 54, 87, 556, 576, 646 e 651. Some bus stops are suppressed, like "Borgo Panigale" and "Borgo Panigale Stazione" (two very close to the Ducati factory).

A good news. Probably the highway won't be completely closed. Will be used only one lane. So you do not have to change your way, but please expect delay and long queues.
