Mass Times

We will be in Sorrento in mid September and are looking for a Catholic church's Mass schedule. We are staying near Piazza Tasso. Do they have the option of Saturday evening Mass?

Also do the shops close in the afternoon like Rome?

1. Re: Mass Times

Here you are what I found, that's the schedule of Sorrento's churches. Check it on the spot because the Sorrento Municipality web-site states that is up-dated to 2006....

Duomo di Sorrento 8.00 10.30 12.00 18.00

Chiesa di S.Antonino 7.30 10.15 11.15

Chiesa di S.Francesco 7.00 8.30 11.30 18.30

Chiesa dell’Annunziata 9.00

Chiesa di N.S.di Lourdes 8.00 9.30 11.00 19.00

Chiesa del Rosario 8.45

Chiesa del Carmine 9.30 10.45 11.45 19.00

Chiesa dei Servi di Maria 9.30

Chiesa di S.Lucia 7.00 9.00 11.00 19.00

Of course if you cannot go on Sun there is always a Sat evening Mass!

I cannot answer about the shopping hours...sorry!

Thanks for your help. I'll check a map to see which one is closest.
