Hola worldchef,

It depends on your interests. The official website for tourism has a great list of tours: gourmet, literary, bike, scooter, Trixi, sidecar, bus etc.

There's also the Top Questions to the right of this page. If you're using a Smartphone, click on FULL SITE to see the Top Questions. Start with the 1st one: Barcelona's Must See's.

Since you're the worldchef, you'll probably like the Mercat de la Boqueria on La Rambla and its excellent 'bars' inside: Bar Pinotxo, El Quim, Kiosko Universal and Bar Central. Just a few doors down, check out Escriba. It's a bakery and cafe housed in a Modernist gem. While you're waiting for your jamon iberico 'bikini', look for the picture of the cake designed by Escriba for Le Cirque du Soleil. And the edible jewelery.

In the Top Questions, there's a list of tapas bars and a Google map showing where they are, in relation to sightseeing landmarks.

If you're a fan of architecture, don't miss Gaudi. You could even combine your tapas tour with a Gaudi DIY Walking Tour (Top Qs again).

Bump! Hola pontevecchio! :-)
