10/1 voting - okay to travel?

Do you think it will be okay to travel in Barcelona from 10/1 to 10/3 ?

I am concerned about the voting that will take place (for the independence of Catalonia.)

Will places like museum be open as usual? and will the public transportation all available like any other days? (some concerns about the safety as well. if there'll be protests of any sort)

Thank you

The question was asked some time ago. Stop worrying. You will barely notice it happening. It won't be anything like as frightening as elections were you come from.

Come. Nothing will happen. Politicians talk but then they do nothing.

For Enric M and regulars: teneis ganas de explicar muchas cosas, pero dejemos este lugar como un oasis en medio de esta batalla. Ok?

Why wouldn't museums be open? But as it's a Sunday, most only till (late) lunchtime.

Public transport is more restricted on Sundays in any case, with longer waits for metro and buses.

And keep watching the news. El Pais has an edition in English online and the Guardian (UK) covers the news Catalonia a lot too

Joan ¡estoy de acuerdo contigo!

Btw 10/1 doesn't refer to 1st October in Europe. We do dates the logical way round, so it's 1/10/17

Please, no political debates. Keep this oasis.
