I have been to both and I would recommend Toledo. It is more lively with locals. Segovia to me it felt like an open air museum with mostly tourists. The aquaduct there was impressive but after a few hours I had seen enough. In Toledo I spent 3 or 4 days and could have enjoyed it for longer. Lots of nice restaurants, good museums and synagogues with exhibitions, the ancient bridge, the cute maze of streets, nice shopping, and as said the amount of locals is nicer.
I stayed in one of the cutest apartments I ever stayed in, in the very center. Small but beautiful, charming place and super friendly owner. And at a good price. Let me know in case you want the link. (I do believe 2 nights is the minimum.)Edited: 14 January 2017, 04:14
