I was in Paris two summers ago and we found the coolest street called Rue De Bucci. I forgot how we got there. Is it near Luxembourg Gardens. I am staying about ten minutes from the Eiffel Tower.

I take the tour bus at least part of my trip. Where can I get off to be semi close to De Bucci.

Bought so much fun stuff there last time.

Rue de Buci crosses Boulevard St-Germain and is kinda close to Métro Odéon. Walking from Place St-Michel on rue St-André-des-Arts brings you to Rue de Buci. Rue de l'Ape or Rue de Seine, both from St-Germain will bring you to Rue de Buci.

Rue de Buci looks very cool to a certain category of person. If you are not staying near there, there is no reason to go, because there are dozens of other streets with identical offerings.

If you are staying near the Eiffel Tower, you will probably find rue Cler super cool, too.

If you get back try to find time to stop here...

There are sidewalk cafes all over this area and you can generally just walk up to one, sit down and have a drink. But people queue up on the sidewalk just to wait for a small table at the Bar du Marche. It's weird, but can't be beat for people watching.

Take metro Line 10 and get off at Mabillon. Cross Blvd. St. Germain and you can enter rue de Buci very nearby. It ends/begins at Blvd. St. Germain.

Or take Line 4 to the St. Germain des Pres, stop and then walk along Blvd. St.Germain, alongside the right side of the church and then you can enter it to your left about a block away from the church. Hope this has helped. Happy Travels!

Funny enough I am staying on Rue Cler. And yes I do love that street.. But De Bucci is so more exciting with campy postcards, beautiful shops and some great book stores.

But Merci for your reply
