Planning a trip to Paris this Christmas (22-24 Dec), will the services of the Metro be reduced or suspended at that time?
Any help is welcome, thanks!
The metro runs on holidays. It may be a few minutes longer between trains, but they will be running.
There is a "Sunday and holiday" service for the metro that reduces service about 15%. It is hardly noticeable when you wait 3 minutes for the metro instead of 2 minutes.
Christmas is Dec. 25, so it won't even affect your visit.
Thank you guys for your replies :)
Any other places in the world where local religious observances affect the availability of general services at various times through the year?Edited: 23 October 2018, 17:27
