Which area from the map is better?

Hello

For my budget, i find hotels in the following A,B,C,D,E,F,G areas :

My criteria are :

1) Areas with nice old buildings and squares with lots of coffee places

2) Areas that are safer to walk after midnight and have safer metro stations

None of these areas would be *my* first choice, but C would definitely be my last choice. If your only choice is these areas, I'd prefer E or F, then D or G, then B, then A.

Those areas are too large, each one of them encompasses several neighborhoods which are very different from one another.

For instance, attractive parts of Montmartre are found in western C and northeastern B while the opposite ends of each circle are COMPLETELY different.

You need to narrow down the areas to a few blocks for any advice to be meaningful.

Just post the links to the hotels you're considering.

Thank you all!

I booked a room at the Paix Republique at the place de la Republique. I read comments about the square and all were positive. I like the fact that it has life both day and night, nice buildings, burger stores, coffee places and a metro station! For my budget (100€/day for 2 persons) i think i made the right choice. Correct? :-)

PS: I love squares! I wish i had the money to book a hotel next to the Parvis de l' hotel de Ville or near the square of Opera or Vendome square , but i don't! :-p

I enjoyed my stay off Republique. It's a more urban vibe to it, but I always felt safe and I enjoyed the bustle and the youth. The metro station is very convenient! I don't know the hotel you've selected but I did enjoy that area.
