4 nights in France, late October

Hi there,

My husband and I have 4 nights free in a European itinerary (we'll be in London for a few days and would like to travel to another country while there), and are considering spending them in France. We realize that it may be chilly in late October - any advice on things to see and do? We're considering exploring the wine/champagne region.

The Champagne region is easy to reach, with much to see. Four days would do nicely for visiting Reims (beautiful cathedrals, wineries with tasting rooms) and a bit of the surrounding region.
