Visiting Blackpool Pleasure Beach on 8th August. Wristbands bought, parking booked all we need now is recommendations for the best fish and chips near to BPB
If you wanted somewhere near the Pleasure beach. We went to Mr Chippy which was near the Pleasure beach it did decent fish and chips with no airs and graces, has sit down tables but not a restaurant. Nice fish and chips though,
Thanks for the replies. We are def not looking for anything fancy- the place we go to at home hasn’t been decorated since the 1980s. All we want is proper proper fish and chips (no kebabs/pizza/Chinese on the menu)
Will check out these 2 places - shocked by the prices on the menu of #2 so cheap!
Nope for a "best place" for fish and chips in that location.
Not even allowed to eat/drink own supplies within confines of PB with enforcement !
Any local and next to PB recommendations will be interesting.
Eat first or later instead. Note opening hours.
Recommended "chippies" along the prom/coast including Blackpool
Tram or 'bus route too.

Price shock in Blackpool !!Edited: 06 August 2018, 03:09
PG in #5 above also mentions an excellent place.
Topping Street has many eateries/cafés to attract families.
Blackpool town centre, however close and walk-able , is not where the OP wants to eat on South Shore at the Pleasure Beach location,
The best, nevertheless, is in town.
Beer prices at a proper pub with genuine ale will be a shock too.!
Have a great time.Edited: 06 August 2018, 03:46
Have a car so don’t mind travelling for good food
Too late to edit but based on recommendations and reviews Yorkshire Fisheries it is
Still shocked at the prices. Once paid £17.50 for cod and chips; fish served on square plate, chips in a bowl on the side and don’t even ask what they’d done to the mushy peas!
Last thing from me do we need to book a table and is there parking outside?
