Restaurant??

I am off to the Lake District tomorrow and on Friday it's hubbys 50th birthday. We are staying in the area of Broughton Beck but can travel.

Can anyone recommend somewhere really nice to eat?? Will have our 7yr old with us.

Thanks!

My nearest suggestion would be the Queens Head at Hawshead, quite a journey from where you are though, but a nice meal at the end of it.

the Anglers arms at Haverthwaite is good I've had some lovely meals there
