Parking in Port Isaac

Hi I have read that parking in Port Isaac is really tricky and wardens fine easily just for being over the lines etc. Can anyone give tips on staying here before I book. Thanks

I think you've answered your own question, Check parking arrangements before booking accommodation. If you are staying in Port Isaac, with parking, wardens will be of no concern. If visiting Port Isaac make sure you conform with the rules governing where you park - same as anywhere else really.

"walk" the route to your accommodation on google streetview before you book. The place that is used as the school in Doc Martin is a popular place to stay and has parking - however the entrance is off a narrow lane that many people walk down and it's fairly trick to get into/ out of the car park.

If you visit for the day there's a large car park outside the village and a pleasant walk around a cliff path down. If tired you can get a taxi back up.

Ask about parking before booking your accommodation.
