Hello, We will be visiting Latur in Late Dec./early Jan. Our daughter is from the area. Are there rec's regarding things to do in the area and/or along the road from Pune? We've been there once before but did nothing other than walk around the streets by our hotel.
We visited Latur on Dec 10 weekend. Actually our plan was to visit Ambejogai temple and then to Parli Vaijanath. Both these places are easily accessible from Latur. Other than this, there is nothing much else for sightseeing. Few resorts have opened up too, in case you want to party with your friends.
We stayed at Hotel Anjni. Its a value for money place, quite clean and good service. Food was decent too. You can opt for AC or Non AC rooms. We had hired a car to go to both the temples, was quite a comfortable travel. Road from Ambejogai to Parli is not good, otherwise the journey was enjoyable.
