Authentic village/small town in Sicily required

I'm planning a holiday with my sister and mother to Sicily in June. We would like a recommendation for a village/small town by the sea. Good local restaurants are essential along with great beaches within a short journey - ideally a walk!

Welcome to Sicily Rachbgould!

Where will you arrive and depart Sicily?

Consider Cefalù!

Any specific recommendations for Cefalu?

I've been reading lots of these forums and Vagabonda - you seem to be the expert on all Sicily. Thank you so much for your help.

Prego rp10012,

Cefalù is compact, so you could stay in the historic centre or along the lungomare and beach - You can easily walk from one to the other within a few minutes.

Cefalù base 4 nights/ 3 days:
