Sherbrooke , North Hatley area

We will be passing through the Sherbrooke area next week on our way to Boston and are looking for some suggestions on where to stay.......perhaps a B+B.....Maybe something a little off the main drag.

Thanks,

Hi Dakotan,

There are certainly a lot of great B&Bs and Country Inns in the Eastern Townships. Many of them are in the "countryside" around Sherbrooke especially near Magog & North Hatley... I suggest that you check out the Bonjour Quebec Website = www.bonjourquebec.com for a list.

Two of the most reknown would be Auberge Ripplecove Inn = www.ripplecove.com and Manoir Hovey = www.manoirhovey.com both are listed with Canada's Finest Inns www.canadasfinestinns.com of which I am personally a VIP Member (having stayed at a number of properties... I have to say their properties are great... I've never been disappointed).

Hope this is helpful,

Cheers!

Hi Dakotan,

You are very welcome...

Just of Note, I did a little more research and discovered that both locations also are rated as CAA / AAA 4-Diamond Accomodations and Restaurants.

Cheers!
